About Capt. John Brackett - A Hilton Head Island resident since 1989
With over 20 years of local boating experience, John earned his U.S. Coast Guard Master Captainís license. Besides charter fishing. John is a professional photographer. His wedding, commercial, lifestyle and
portraiture, have been featured in numerous magazines, books, newspapers and ads throughout the country. his published work in Town & Country, I Do and various local publications has called for aerial and
lifestyle images as well as underwater stills and videography throughout the Hawaiian Islands, Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Honduras and the South Carolina Low country. He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) and Nikon Professional Services (NPS). John's hobbies include music (he is an accomplished pianist and frequent performer in area at The Jazz Corner, The Redfish, in Hilton Head as well as in Savannah. John also enjoys many things related to the water: boating, fishing, kite surfing, spearfishing and scuba diving. John is one of those fortunate people whose successful career is built around what he genuinely loves to do.
