Update- 900lb Great White Shark “Freeman” pinging in just off Tom’s River, NJ this week. This girl was caught off Hilton Head, SC last December by Mathew Smiga, from Atlanta, and named after Freeman Boatworks. She was tagged by Dr Winton from the AWSC.
It seems like the majority that we catch are now ending up off Canada for the summer. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy has spotted a few of ours right on the beach through the years, off Cape Cod.

This technology still amazes me. Never would’ve thought I could see where a fish is, that we caught 6 months ago!

After 25 years at HH Harbor, we’re now located directly behind Dockside Restaurant at 2 Hudson Dr. Hilton Head Island, SC.
There’s three restaurants side-by-side…. Hudson’s, Dockside, and Skull Creek Boathouse. We’re right in the middle at Dockside restaurant.

Leave it to a horse named Great White to do a back flip and nearly kill his jockey at the gate.

Congrats to Melissa Michaelson for being the only one to predict the winner out of 640 predictions.

Fortunately, nobody got the exact order of finish, which had me concerned for a while when I noticed about 150 predictions were the same. That’s a lot of shirts and shipping $.

Hope everyone had a great Derby. Back to the fishes!

We’re going to need a bigger starting gate. How do you not pull for a horse in the Kentucky Derby named GREAT WHITE. …and he’s a monster. He’s only won 1 race, and barely made the derby cut, but crazier things have happened.
