What an unforgettable moment at our International Racquet Conference ❤️
We were proud to honor Julie Jilly for 40 years of extraordinary service with the Professional Tennis Registry.

Hired in 1985 as the very first employee by Dennis Van der Meer, Julie remains the backbone of our organization four decades later. Her leadership, heart, and dedication have helped shape PTR into what it is today.

A true champion for adaptive tennis, Julie annually serves as Tournament Director for the PTR Wheelchair Tennis Championships and the Special Olympics Tennis Championships. In 2006, PTR received a National Award for Adaptive Tennis - a testament to her impact!
Her recognitions include:
🏆 2005 USTA Community Service Award (Southern Section)
🏆 2005 Special Olympics South Carolina Super Hero Award
🏆 2004 RSI Magazine Wheelchair Tennis Champion of the Year

Beyond PTR, Julie continues to serve her community and teach sports and fitness classes simply for the love of it.

We were incredibly honored to welcome Katrina Adams to the PTR/PPR International Racquet Conference as our Lifetime Achievement Award recipient 👏🎾

A true trailblazer, Katrina made history as the first African American and first former pro to serve as Chair and President of the United States Tennis Association (2015–2018), leading the opening of the USTA National Campus and the transformation of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center while expanding access to tennis nationwide.

A 12-year WTA Tour competitor with 20 doubles titles, she continues to shape the global game through leadership roles with the International Tennis Federation and the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and was honored by the International Olympic Committee with the 2023 Gender Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Champions Award.

We were also proud to have her share insights on our panel, “Surviving on the Road – From Player to Coaches,” moderated by our CEO, Martin van Daalen.

The PPTR workshops consist of online study and preparation followed by in-person, hands-on training. These newly certified coaches work throughout the area teaching platform this season. Jack is a Triple Threat Professional, certified in PTR - Professional Tennis Registry - Official Tennis, PPR - Professional Pickleball Registry Pickleball and PPTR Platform Tennis.
