Meet Marc Jones. Help us celebrate the power of perseverance, movement, and healthy living. 💙
Marc came to us with a goal of lowering his A1C through personalized exercise prescription and nutrition guidance, but along this journey, we’ve also had the privilege of helping him manage the challenges that come with Parkinson’s disease. With Marc’s permission, we wanted to share a small part of his story in hopes of encouraging others who may be facing similar struggles.
At the Restoration Clinic, we believe wholeheartedly that EXERCISE IS MEDICINE. Movement has the ability to improve not only physical strength, but confidence, independence, balance, coordination, energy levels, and overall quality of life.
Marc has been working incredibly hard in his sessions. His program includes:
🥊 Non-contact boxing using our new interactive boxing machine to improve reaction time, coordination, and cognitive engagement
🚶 Balance and agility training with hurdles and agility ladders to help stability and mobility
❤️ Cardiovascular exercise to support heart health, endurance, and blood sugar management
💪 Resistance training to build strength and preserve muscle function
🥗 Nutrition guidance to support healthier habits and improve A1C levels
Research continues to show that regular exercise can play a major role in helping individuals with Parkinson’s disease maintain mobility, reduce stiffness, improve balance, and even enhance mood and mental well-being. Combined with proper nutrition and consistency, these lifestyle changes can truly be life-changing.
Marc reminds us that progress does not require perfection — it requires persistence. Every workout, every healthy choice, and every step forward matters.
We are so proud of the work he is putting in and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside him on this journey. His determination is inspiring, and we hope his story encourages others to keep moving, keep fighting, and never give up on their health.
No matter your age or diagnosis, it is NEVER too late to start exercising and investing in your wellness. Your body was designed to move — and movement truly is medicine. 💙
