Change is hard, and it takes time.

Time is going to pass no matter what you do. You might as well start now. Why not pass it by working towards your goals?(the ones you said you'd start at the beginning of the year.)

You don’t need a complete upheaval of your life. It's small daily actions that change the foundation of who you are and what you do. It'sq as simple as scheduling and doing two 30 min strength training sessions each week. Slowly incorporating more protein, fruits, and some more vegetables each day.

My role is to help clients implement these, while also keeping them on track

I screwed up, left my food for the day on the table when I left for work, and didn’t realize it until I got to work.

S**t happens, you have to adapt.

Instead of saying f**k and running through the drive-thru window, I stopped at the grocery store when I had a break to pick food for the day.

You talk about not having time; the entire trip was less than 10 minutes.

Cost is a common excuse. The total for my haul was $10.85 for my breakfast and lunch. Minus the protein powder in my coffee. McDonald's would probably have cost you more; I know for sure it would have for me, between $12-$20 for each meal.

All of the items I talked about should come to around 100g of protein +/- 10 g

You can have results, or you can have excuses; they don’t exist in the same space. Life is going to happen; you have to be able to adapt on the fly.

We often give the scale too much power. It's just one data point, and it's affected by everything from your last meal to your last workout. True progress is about consistency, feeling stronger, and building healthy habits. Your body is dynamic, not a static number. Stop letting a single weigh-in ruin your day.

Fat loss = calories burned > calories consumed. Sounds simple, right? But it’s not just about numbers. Over-restricting or skipping meals can lead to overeating later. Ignoring protein reduces fullness and muscle support. Poor sleep disrupts hunger hormones, and emotional eating can throw you off track. Make it sustainable by focusing on habits you can stick with. 🥗💪
