The athletic program at Taconic Hills CSD is founded on the principle that the playing field is an extension of the classroom; and participation in athletics contributes to academic development. Taconic Hills offers a wide range of interscholastic sports on the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Modified levels. In most sports, our teams compete as a member of the Patroon Conference.

Congratulations to Mackenzie Vigue on an outstanding performance at the NYSPHSAA Track & Field Championships this past weekend!

Competing in this meet for the first time, Mackenzie rose to the challenge and delivered several personal best performances. She set a new PR of 18.48 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, recorded a personal best of 26 feet, 6.5 inches in the shot put, and achieved a personal best Pentathlon score of 2,510 points.

Her efforts earned her a 9th-place finish in Class C, an impressive accomplishment on one of the state's biggest stages.

Today, we celebrated Mackenzie and recognize an incredible accomplishment! Surrounded by students and staff, we wished her the best of luck as she prepares to compete at the NYSPHSAA Track & Field State Championships.

Mackenzie has earned this opportunity through her hard work and dedication, and we are proud to see her represent the Titans on the state stage. Congratulations on all you have accomplished, and good luck this weekend—we'll all be cheering you on! 💙💛
