Well thats a wrap for the 2026 Arnold Classic. Was great to see everyone. Thank you to all who stopped by. Thank you to everyone who sampled and bought some hot sauce.

Im proud that multipe Arnold competitors this year have put training time in at my gym. Im proud that my gym and I got to be apart of your strength journeys.

I likely will not be back next year and will likely be a break from going out to the Arnold.

As we get ready to enter a new year many many people will be searching the internet, social media, AI, ect for the latest and greatest way to lose weight, get in shape, get fit, get stronger, diet supplements, ect.

The latest trend or supplement generally is not the best option. How often does a workout trend or supplement take off then a year or 2 later is pretty much washed up?

The tried and true basics are usually the best go to. They might not be flashy or exciting but what they do produce is what you want and what you want is achievable results that can last…

⚠️Purpose: Every year countless people start their new year new me fitness goals on January first. Approx 43% give up/quit by January 31st. Approx 80% give up/quit before the end of February. This is largely due to the people not having any idea what their doing, not having structure or accountability, non realistic goals, way over their heads in terms of how much work and how long it will take to get some results, ect.

⚠️Why: I was at the American Dream mall doing some last minute Christmas shopping and being out on public I just had a wow moment. Thinking how many of these people shopping and at the food court are going to attempt their “new year new me” phase. They will be super motivated for a week or so. Post all these motivational stuff on social media. Yet by the end of January the majority will give up and the other majority will fade out the following month. Then boom another year of their health getting worse.

Lets cut to the chase. Every year thousands, if not millions of people make their “New Year, New Me” fitness resolutions….

Gyms are packed the first 2 weeks of the year…

Everyones social media feed is packed with people and their fitness new years resolutions..

Yet we know that by February about 90% of those people have thrown in the towell..

Here is why they fail in all honesty….

⚠️The expected results take longer then they expected, they require more work then expected, and finally the quest for the results interupts their “normal” schedule more than expected.⚠️

Despite whatever the internet says or the person trying to sell a program says.. Reach out to qualified coach and run your story and your plan by them. Get some real feedback on the actual result timeframe and whats necessary to achieve it from a 3rd party or someone who is not just trying to profit off of your situation..
