Thrilled to have been given the opportunity to take my Son in law, Alex on his first turkey hunt this week. This was a classic right off the roost hunt. Ol’ Tom was talkative on the limb but totally quiet once he hit the grass. Came in like a puffed up ghost all fanned out and ready for action. The action he got was not what he expected. Congratulations Alex. Looking forward to more trigger time with you in the future. 18 Lbs , 10 inch beard, 15/16th spurs

Tagged out this morning in NH right off the roost. This hunt was a classic set up while he was gobbling in the tree scenario . Called him over with a couple of sultry hen yelps 10 mins after he hit the ground. 19Lbs, 9 1/4 beard and 15/16th spurs.
