Choose someone to represent your inner cheerleader. It can be an actress, a musician, a cartoon, someone in real life. It doesn't matter. You get to pick.
When your inner critic starts attacking you or you're struggling to access motivation, courage, and inspiration- ask yourself: What would _ do?
Then do it.
It works like a charm.
