Good finish to the day. Carson Kozojed with a 5th place finish. Sawyer Owens with a first place finish. Sawyer Owens is also Senior Athlete of Year for Class B. Well done by all.

We will have end of year party Saturday at 6 at the Kozojed playhouse, pizza and ice cream included. All athletes and their families invited.

Results from Day 1 of the North Dakota State Boys B Wrestling Tournament.

Justin Torroll is 1-1 and in the blood round tomorrow. Justin lost to the number 2 seed.

Carson Kozojed is 1-1, losing a close match in the quarters to the eventual finalist. Carson is also in the blood round and needs to win at least one more to place.

Sawyer Owens went 3-0, winning the semis with a major decision. He will be in the finals for the fourth time tomorrow.

Congratulations to our Academic All-Americans as well. Wrestling starts at 10 am tomorrow morning with the blood round, and the finals will be at 4:30 pm.

Congratulations to all of our burros. Those making the blood round were Brody Pelton, Zander Dovenmuehler, Cade Mueller and Eston Beach. Ben Nelson and Emory Jennen wrestled great as well.
