Hi everyone! My name is Emily, I’m 15 years old, and I wanted to share a little bit about why this lemonade stand means so much to me. 💙🍋
I’ve been wrestling for years, and this season all of my hard work paid off when I earned second at state qualifying me to represent Team Oregon at Fargo, also known as the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals—the largest and most prestigious high school wrestling tournament in the country. It’s an opportunity I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m incredibly honored to compete against some of the best wrestlers in the nation while representing my state.
Getting to Fargo is only part of the journey. Wrestling at a high level takes dedication, sacrifice, and countless hours of training. It also comes with the cost of travel, camps, clinics, tournaments, and equipment. Instead of simply asking for help, I wanted to work for my dream. That’s why I started this lemonade stand.
Every cup of lemonade you buy helps me get one step closer to Fargo and allows me to continue investing in my wrestling journey through camps and clinics that will help me continue growing as an athlete. Every early morning, every lemon I squeeze, and every customer I meet reminds me that hard work, consistency, and determination really do pay off.
Running this stand has taught me so much about responsibility, perseverance, and believing in myself. Whether I’m behind this lemonade stand or on the wrestling mat, I’m working hard to achieve my goals and become the best version of myself.
