🤼 COACHES WANTED — JOIN HILLSBORO MAT CLUB! 🤼

Hillsboro Mat Club is looking for experienced, passionate coaches to join our team for the 2026–2027 wrestling season!

We currently have opportunities within our Middle School and Spartan Elite programs and are looking for coaches who want to help young wrestlers grow — not only as competitors, but as confident, disciplined athletes and teammates.

🔹 Middle School: 3–4 practices/week + Sunday morning tournaments; light travel
🔹 Spartan Elite: 4 practices/week + weekend competition; travel required
🔹 Competitive stipend commensurate with experience
🔹 Support from an established coaching staff and wrestling community

Wrestling and/or coaching experience is preferred for Middle School. Wrestling experience is required for Elite, with prior coaching experience preferred.

More than anything, we're looking for reliable coaches who communicate well, lead by example, and genuinely enjoy developing young wrestlers.

As I get ready to step on the mat at Fargo, I can’t help but think about everything it took to get here. This journey has been filled with early mornings, long practices, sacrifices, setbacks, and so many people who believed in me even when I doubted myself.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported me along the way. To everyone who stopped by my lemonade stand and bought a cup—you weren’t just buying lemonade, you were helping me chase my dream. Every dollar, every word of encouragement, and every act of kindness brought me one step closer to this moment.

Thank you to Hillsboro Mat Club for helping me build the foundation of who I am as a wrestler. Thank you to Jeremy Strickland for giving me the opportunity to sell my lemonade at your fireworks stand. Your generosity helped make this trip possible.

Thank you to Silverback RTC and every single coach who has poured their time, knowledge, and belief into me. Thank you for pushing me to be better every day, for believing in me, and for never letting me settle for less than my best.

Most importantly, thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and everyone who has cheered me on. Knowing I have so many people behind me means more than I can put into words.

No matter what the outcome is, I already feel like I’ve won. Being here is something I dreamed about, worked for, and earned. I’ll step onto that mat with gratitude, confidence, and pride.

🍋Emi’s Lemonade will be back this weekend
Saturday 6/27 and Sunday 6/28 from 10am-6pm! She's raising money for the trip she earned to Fargo this summer!

She will be at our 🎆FIREWORK🎆 tent!
📍NE 25th and NE Cornell Rd in the Safeway parking lot right by our tent!
