The draft for the Spring Soccer Season was held this evening. The coaches will be reaching out to you this week to discuss practice times and arrange for payment (if needed) to be collected once practices start. Games will start the weekend of March 27th and will end on or before the weekend of May 22nd (if not sooner depending on the age group). All Teams K-8 were formed except 3rd & 4th Grade Boys. We are still looking for volunteers to coach teams in that division or we run the risk of not being able to have teams if we can't get volunteers :-(. We need 2-3 more head coaches. We are going to try and have a season from March 27th - May 22nd (skipping Easter weekend). If your child did not sign up for soccer last Fall, please fill out a contract and submit it ASAP by mailing it in or dropping it off at MCR Realty Professionals, Inc. 551 S Main St., Hillsboro (see below link for the contract). If your child signed up in the Fall but does not want to play, please let us know ASAP before teams are formed. Any questions, please contact Matt Lentz 217-371-1536. We have record of who paid in cash (that has not been signed for/returned) and also checks. Unfortunately the checks are past the date the bank will accept so new checks will need to be written. Those that we are still holding cash will be applied towards the Spring season if your child is playing. If you are unsure if you paid in cash/check, please PM with your child's name/grade and we will look up your contract. Once teams are established, the coach will reach out to each parent and request the proper payment (if needed). The local soccer league is having a meeting on 2/17 to discuss a possible Spring Season. We will post after the 17th with more information. ⚽️

TRASH BAG Pickup again today 10/8/20 from 4p - 6:30p at the soccer concession if you want to stop out and pick up your orders. We will continue to have more pickups if this doesn’t work for your schedule.

The area soccer league voted this evening to postpone Fall Soccer until Spring with an estimated start the beginning of April and ending before Memorial Day. All collected contracts will be held in the appropriate age groups for the Spring season. If you would like to not participate in the Spring, please send a private message. If you would like your check returned or you paid in cash, please also send a private message to make arrangements to meet or checks will be shredded. We will be collecting new payments once the Spring season starts. Information on the annual Soccer Trash Bag Fundraiser will be released soon! It will be an online ordering fundraiser. We look forward to Soccer in the Spring! 🥅 ⚽️
