Read some nutrition clients’ testimonials and success stories! 🤍

One of my favorite things about coaching nutrition is everyone has a different story behind their food choices and why they eat.

Some people start nutrition coaching because they want to know what their body needs and how they can fuel for their workouts and training.

Some people want to stop yoyo dieting and desire to stay on a consistent schedule with eating.

Some people want to stop restricting and limiting food and want to just enjoy eating again.

Whatever your story or goals may be, nutrition coaching is about creating a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food. One that supports your body, your goals, and your lifestyle.

Other than wanting to feel as strong as Miss Trunchbull... there’s actually a good reason to wear a lifting belt.

And no it isn’t “cheating” or a crutch when it’s used correctly.

A lifting belt helps increase stability by giving your core something to brace against during heavy compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses. Think of it as “feedback” that reminds you to create and maintain a strong brace throughout a lift.

If you’re new to lifting, it’s completely fine to wear a belt with lighter weights while you’re learning how to brace properly. It can be a helpful teaching tool.

That said, don’t become dependent on it.

If you feel like you can’t squat or deadlift without a belt even when the weight is relatively light, you will need to practice sessions beltless. Building confidence and learning to brace on your own is just as important as knowing when to use the belt.

A belt is a tool in the gym, not a substitute for good technique.
