We had a great time spending the morning with the Sullivan Fire Protection District’s Junior Fire Academy! The future of the fire service is bright, and it was an honor to be part of helping these young men and women learn more about the profession.

The day got off to an incredible start with a special visit from David Eigenberg (Captain Herrmann from Chicago Fire), who took time to meet with the students and share his support for the next generation of firefighters.

A special thank you to Clay Snodgrass from Feld Fire for helping sponsor this event and supporting fire service education and training opportunities for our youth.

We appreciate the invitation and look forward to working with the Sullivan Junior Fire Academy again in the future!

It’s was a wet day, but still a great day at Central Crossing Fire District!

We had a lot of great participants from departments across central and southwestern Missouri!

Upon successful completion, students will earn certification as an SDI Open Water Diver.

This course serves as the prerequisite for all future Public Safety Diver training programs and is intended for personnel looking to join existing Underwater Recovery teams.

Requirements:

Must be affiliated and in good standing with a Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, or Public Safety organization within the State of Missouri

Must be in good overall physical health

Must provide your own currently certified scuba equipment
