Good afternoon, Hillsboro!

Tomorrow, **Saturday, August 29th**, the Sports Complex will be a busy place!

🏈 **Junior Football League (JFL)** games begin at **10:00 AM**. Please remember that this event charges an admission fee, which may slow down traffic while entering the complex. We ask everyone to please be patient and respectful.

⚽ **Hillsboro Youth Soccer** will also kick off its first games of the season tomorrow, beginning at **9:00 AM**!

With both events taking place, the City of Hillsboro is asking all spectators to please **drive carefully and be considerate while entering and exiting the Sports Complex**. There will be lots of people parking, walking to the fields, and moving throughout the complex.

We had JFL at the complex last weekend, and it was busy—so this weekend will be **about double the activity!**

🚗 **There is plenty of parking available**, but you may have to walk a little farther than usual. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we work together to make the day run smoothly.

♿ **Limited mobility parking:** A few parking spaces will be available on the **west side of the soccer garage** for spectators with limited mobility to help make access to the fields easier.

🌭 **Don't forget to support our concession stand!** We will have:

• Pork Patties
• Hot Dogs
• French Fries
• Nachos
• Pretzels
• Plenty of Snacks
• Cold Drinks
• 🍩 A limited supply of donuts for a morning treat!

Let's all do our part to make events like these a **big success for our community**. Enjoy the games, support our young athletes, and please be patient and respectful throughout the day!

Good afternoon,this evening at complex the High School Boys soccer team will be hosting an alumni soccer game starting at 5:00 pm. Come on out to the complex and watch this game and see some older players play the game and enjoy some good food from the concession stand. Plenty of cold drinks and snacks for all. TOPPER PRIDE!!!!!

Good morning, today at the Complex, the Junior Toppers take the football field starting at 10AM. Just a quick reminder for the Jfl program. There is an admission fee so up on entering the complex to keep the traffic flow running smoothly. Please allow extra time and have money readily available. Adults four dollars students three dollars . So come on out and enjoy some youth football , while you are, the Concession Stand will be serving pork patties, hotdogs, pulled pork along with nachos and pretzels. Come on out and support this team and enjoy some food from the Concession Stand, serving today will be pork patties and hotdog, along with nachos pretzels, and plenty of drinks and lots of snacks. Good afternoon,Mother Nature is gonna allow for our first Junior High baseball game today at the complex game starts at 4:30. Good luck DRAGONS. Good evening,here are the dates and times for our Junior Football games. Please remember that there is an admission fee for these games so at Hillsboro there will be limited parking on the south side side of the complex due to the construction of our new pool. I personally recommend to arrive earlier than your game time because you may have to park in the North lot which is the country club entrance and walk through the baseball field area. With the possibility of soccer going on during these times as well please be considerate of traffic situations becoming a problem,but with a little extra caution all will be good. Good evening,with the heat advisory going on these days we want everyone to be safe so the IHSA and IESA have the guidelines listed. The youth sports teams that are ran through the City of Hillsboro try there best to follow the lead of our public schools, so if games and practices are canceled more than likely ours will be also. With that being said teams may practice or play later in the evening as long as the weather permits and that means within the listed recommendations . A quick app on your phone called Zelus (WBGT) gives the information on the weather. This app is what our school and the IHSA/IESA recommend.

Good morning,this post is for all parents of our JFL all teams have been put together and coaches have been selected. Coaches will be reaching out to the parents very shortly about some things to get this season started. Here are some important dates that everyone should know about the first practice day is Monday August 3rd starting at the complex. It is mandatory that all physical examinations forms need to be turned in before August 10th you can drop off at city hall or can put them in city drop box located outside at the city hall. These forms can also be given to Bill Christian or Alex Holtschulte personally. Once again as always thanks for supporting youth sports in Hillsboro. Thanks to all the coaches for volunteering your time to coach and to all the parents were signing your kid up to play football at Hillsboro.
