Olentangy Liberty tied the game at 7 to force overtime and had a chance to win it. Grayson Davis scored a rushing touchdown in the extra period to pull Liberty within one, but Gahanna stuffed the two-point conversion attempt to escape with a 14-13 win.

Alex Leonard threw a touchdown pass to Kaidan Schmelmer in the fourth quarter. Two of the Patriots’ losses this season have been by razor thin margins.

With a promising athletic future before him, senior Ed Nichols was faced with an unthinkable reality - a genetic condition that changed his athletic path forward. He may not be able to play the game he loves, but his leadership never left the field. His teammates still look to him. His coaches still value him.
