Same old same old. “Upgraded” from a 73 to a “vintage” 98, and I’m still working on overheads 🤣
Now that snowboard season is over, it’s time for build season! Decided to utilize the major rain storms to see how bad my water leak problem has gotten, and I’d say… it’s pretty bad.
The standing water was a dead giveaway away. The underlayment between the insulation foam and fiberglass is completely disintegrated. All of the paneling is shot. Guess I’ll be redoing the entire overhead now 🤷 Thank goodness it has a welded metal frame!!!

Playing around with AI to see what Carl would look like with an exterior color change. I already know I want to do truck bed liner along the bottom, and had been tossing around dark gray for the main color. For gits and shiggles I decided to add topographical lines, and I think it looks pretty sweet. What are your thoughts? Lines or no lines?

Getting packed for a 4 day snowboard trip, and making sure I’ll have everything I need 🤓 Seriously though, I’ll have a lot of evening downtime and Im curious to see how “on the go” builds are going to work. The Ski Lodge seemed fitting for the snowboard trip, and I’ve been holding on to the latest RV for just this occasion!

The biggest issue Carl had was the kitchen and bath floor had some major water damage at some point, and the floor was completely useless.
Once I got the floor up, I realized there was minimal bracing to try and put in a new floor. So I welded a new frame!!!! Now I have a solid floor in the kitchen and bath.

Well…. Crap. Overhead bunk window definitely has a leak in the seal. I will say this though, the first warm day after after a foot and a half of snow sitting on the roof really tells me where the problem spots are 🤣🤣
Carl is used to living under a custom tarp in the winters, but no more! Time to get ready for winter shred trips!!
