ABM Open Runs are back this week! 🏀🔥

Come compete with us for grades 8th–10th based on your 2026 fall grade level.

Games will be organized, competitive, and controlled by coaches. Coaches will referee, form teams to keep games fair, and run games with an 8-minute running clock or first to 11 points.

Details:
🏀 Grades: 8th–10th(Fall 2026 Grade)
💵 Cost: $10
📍 Pay at the door
💳 Payment accepted: Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo
⚠️ Space is limited — registration is required.

Once all spots are filled, players will need to register for the next available date. Runs will be on Mondays and Thursday nights starting tonight.

ABM Boys & Girls Summer Tryouts are approaching fast! 🏀🔥

Join us on June 16th and June 18th for your chance to be part of A Basketball Mentality this summer. Be sure to sign up under your appropriate grade level. We are excited to see both returning and new players in the gym competing and getting better.

ABM 8th Grade Black put on a defensive clinic today! 🏀💪🏾

This group brought great energy on the defensive end and matched it with a balanced scoring attack. I’m extremely proud of the way they competed, played together, and represented ABM.

The future is bright for this team, and we’re excited to see what they continue to accomplish! 🖤💛

Come hoop with us today at ABM Open Runs! Spots are limited, and registration is required through the link below to participate.

Cost: $10 per player
Payment: Pay at the door
Address: 11965 S. Aero DR Plainfield, IL 60585
Grade Levels & Times:
5th & 6th Grade: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
7th & 8th Grade: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Games will be played with a running clock, and coaches will be available to referee and keep the scrimmages organized, competitive, and controlled.

ABM has truly been blessed with great kids coming through our program over the years, and we are just as blessed with the special group we have right now.

Our ABM 8th Grade Black 2030 Team is different. This group has heart, toughness, chemistry, and a real love for the game.

Our veterans — Anthony, Kamryn, Stanley, Julian, and Jacob — have been huge for this team with their leadership, commitment, and consistency. Then we added a strong group this season with Jerimiah, Nathan, Ethan, Phill, and Mason, and they made this team even better.

Once again, our 2030 team has earned a spot on the Top 40 Pound-for-Pound Travel Team list!

I could not be more proud of this group and what they continue to accomplish. The work is showing, the growth is real, and the future is bright.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing ABM moms! 🖤💛 We truly could not do this without your love, support, sacrifices, and commitment to our athletes.

Another big weekend for ABM! 🏀💪🏾 Congratulations to ABM 8th Grade Grey, 7th Grade Silver, and 5th Grade Black for bringing home medals today. A special shoutout to ABM 5th Grade Black, our first team this season to win 3 games in one day and bring home medals!

Great effort from every ABM team that competed today. The growth, energy, and competitiveness continue to show each week.
