At our facility, we talk a lot about developing athletes, but today we’re especially proud of the young men we’re helping develop off the field.

Members of Flash Baseball’s 11U Red team recently learned about Xavier Taylor, a 12-year-old baseball player who was critically injured in a tragic accident during a pregame warmup.

The baseball community has rallied around Xavier and his family with an incredible outpouring of support.
Without hesitation, our players asked if they could do something to help. The team signed a poster filled with messages of encouragement and support, which will be sent to Xavier and his family along with a small gift.

Moments like these remind us that sports are about so much more than wins and losses. They teach compassion, empathy, leadership, and the importance of showing up for others when they need it most.

We’re incredibly proud of these boys (and their parents) for recognizing that being a great teammate extends beyond your own team and beyond the game itself. Today they showed what it means to be great young men, on and off the field.
