Cricket's popularity in Howard County has grown steadily in recent years, with an adult league that now has more than 40 teams and 1,000 players.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today broke ground on the County’s first designated youth cricket pitch at Lake Elkhorn Middle School in Columbia.

Howard County's first youth cricket pitch to be built at Lake Elkhorn Middle School will be the 6th cricket pitch in the county.
