Don’t let the colder weather slow you down! Keep moving, stay motivated, and BEAT THE WINTER BLUES with us at the Korte Recreation Center! 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏊‍♀️

🎯 Goal: Complete 200 miles!

Walk, run, bike, swim, or get your miles in on eligible cardio equipment. Every mile gets you one step closer to the finish line! 💪

🛝 Glik Park Playground Update! 🛝

We apologize for the late notice, but the large playground at Glik Park removal process is starting TODAY (9/1)!

City crews from other departments are able to assist with the removal, so we’re taking advantage of the extra help to get the project moving. The new playground features are scheduled to be installed later this month, and we’re excited to see this space transformed into a fun new destination for our community!

We appreciate your patience while this work takes place and can’t wait for you to see the new playground thanks for the Madison County Community Development Park Enhancement Program! Please visit one of our other local parks while we continue to improve Glik Park. 💚

🚨 250 MILE CHALLENGE SPOTLIGHT! 🚨

We thought completing 250 miles was an incredible accomplishment… but one of our participants decided to take it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! 🤯👏

Please help us congratulate Cassandra for completing an incredible 1,000+ MILES during our 250 Mile Challenge! 🎉🚴‍♀️

What makes this accomplishment even more inspiring is the determination and adaptability she showed along the way. When running became too hard on her body and lower back, she made the decision to switch to full-time cycling, proving that sometimes reaching a goal means finding a different path to get there. 💪

She didn’t just complete the challenge… she CRUSHED it, logging more than FOUR TIMES the original 250-mile goal! 🔥
