Red Raider Family ,

Greg Novarro, one of the original FMYFA coaches, recently passed away.

The Red Raiders had many great matchups against his Duck Commander and Marauder teams. We will cherish the memories of Greg leading both teams in prayer following the games. He set a great example for the youth of the community to follow.

Through the years, Greg and Coach Aaron became good friends. Coach Aaron greatly valued this friendship and will miss him.

Greg set a great example through how much he loved his family and the importance of his faith. Greg’s family will be in all of our thoughts and prayers.

We wanted to share information regarding Greg’s upcoming service.

Post 1 of 2: Accomplishments

Words cannot describe how I feel about this group of players, coaches and parents. Over the last year this team worked hard , played for each other and never gave up. This is one of the funnest and most resilient group of players I have ever coached. Their determination speaks through the accomplishments they had as a team. From going 16-0 in the fall and playing in four championship games their successes were definitely measurable. This group was the 2020 Grapevine Santa Cop Champions, 14U North DFW interlock Champions, HVA All-Star tournament Finalist and Southlake All-Star tournament Finalist. As the Red Raiders they finished the 2020-2021 seasons 25-2. Baseball is more than wins and losses. This teams heart and passion for the game was the drive for our great team chemistry. This group cared about each other and it showed. I want to thank every player and coach who contributed over the last season.
