🎉 🎉Huge congratulations to Briarhill MS on reaching the 7th Grade MSM Finals!🎉🎉

What an incredible tournament and an absolute preview of what’s to come!

The finals were a thrilling glimpse into the future Mound Showdowns between Marcus High School and Flower Mound High School. With one team feeding into the Marauders and the other into the Jaguars, these young athletes gave us a taste of the intensity, pride, and competition that defines one of the best rivalries in Texas high school sports.

Shadow Ridge took the win 8-5 in a hard-fought battle, but both teams showed the heart, talent, and sportsmanship that will make the future Mound Showdowns even more special.

A VERY special thank you to The Salvage Yard for hosting the tourney at their awesome facility in Ponder. 🙏🏼👏🏼

Copperas Branch Park will be closed June 11-15 to prepare the fields for event parking for Celebrate Highland Village. The park will reopen on Monday, June 15.

16U Storm - Williams goes 5-1 this weekend to win the Championship!

16U Storm - Williams won the 2026 Tournament of Champions High School Open Division this weekend in Denison. Five hours of rain delays and 5 games in 90 degree weather on the turf as well as some great competition were not enough to stop the nine ladies who came to compete for the HV Storm. We outscored opponents 22-5 over 5 games as the pitching and defense shined! MVPs were awarded to Brenly DeLaney and Faith Dinsmore. Congrats to this young group of players who are constantly developing and pursuing the next level as they continue to beat High School teams. Parents and Coaches counldn't be prouder! 🥎💪

⚾️ HVABSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECRUITMENT – OPEN POSITION ⚾️

Director of Registration & Web Services
Term: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027

The Highland Village Baseball & Softball Association (HVABSA) is currently seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as our Director of Registration & Web Services for the upcoming board term.

This important role helps support the day-to-day operations of our league by assisting with online registration, website updates, player and volunteer information, league communication, and helping families stay informed throughout the season. If you enjoy organization, technology, communication, or simply want to make a difference in youth baseball and softball, this may be a great opportunity to serve our community.

Responsibilities include helping to:
✅ Support player, coach, and volunteer registration
✅ Maintain and update league website information
✅ Assist with registration notices and league-wide communication
✅ Help organize participant information and online resources
✅ Support board members with digital tools and forms

Please Note:
This is a volunteer, unpaid Board of Directors position focused on serving our players, families, and community.

Attendance at Board of Directors meetings is required. HVABSA holds approximately nine in-person meetings per year, with a call-in/virtual option available when needed.
