He initiated me into the "outdoors" and I cannot ever remember a time when I wasn't fishing or hunting. Doc helped pass that passion down to his grandkids, and my student's as well. He was always willing to help, in any way, get youth outside and enjoying nature in any capacity. This page, and this program, is just a small part of his legacy.

We received ONE pronghorn tag this year, and we just opened the registration at TYHP.org, hunt number 27-122 . The application window opened TODAY and closes 9/21. The one caveat is the youth must have completed an adventure hunt workshop through TYHP. If ANY of my former hunters have done this, PLEASE apply for this hunt. It is truly a once in a lifetime chance. It is spot/stalk and true big country adventure.....

Doc's Annual Dove Hunt is September 19/20 in the Colorado City/Sweetwater/Snyder triangle. We will be hunting over scouted fields. It is always a great time. Cost is $250/person and we will be hunting Saturday night and Sunday morning. I still have spots available and I still have raffle tickets for the Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 if you are interested in that too. We are looking forward to another great season with the kids! Howdy Everyone! Doc's is having a raffle for a bing bang....specifically a Benelli Super Black Eagle 2, 12g. This one has wood furniture and can shoot up to 3.5" shotshells. It is in EXCELLENT condition!!!!!!! There will be 25 total raffle tickets sold, each ticket will be $100 and will be considered a donation for which will be written a receipt for taxes.
