Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Highland Park, IL since 1933, the NSYC is an affordable membership organization for Sailors, Kayakers, Power Boaters, Stand Up Paddle/SUP, Outriggers and fun social events. As an all volunteer organization, we are open to residents of all communities. Offering Youth & Adult Sailing, Racing Workshops, weekly Sail Racing, a Summer Regatta, Kayak & SUP Courses, Full Moon Paddles, Social Events and waterfront family activities. Beginning & Skill level classes are provided at an additional cost by our US Sailing & ACA Certified Instructors. Clubhouse facilities includes a beach front outdoor deck, fire pit, grills, inside full kitchen, lounge, private bathing facilities, locker rentals, Wi-Fi access and much more! NSYC members are a warm and welcoming group of people who share a love of our beautiful lakefront in a relaxing environment. NSYC has a large fleet of Sunfish, Hobies, Club 420 Sailboats, Recreational Touring Kayaks, and SUPS exclusively for member use.
