Asilbek had a great weekend of Wrestling at the OHSAA DIV 1 State Tournament! He peaked at the right time! Asilbek placed 6th and has only been wrestling for four years! He has a very bright future! GO CATS!

Mayfield Qualified two to the State Tournament this weekend. Asilbek placed second and John placed 4th! Let’s Go Cats!

The Mayfield Mat Cats competed in the division 1 Sectional Wrestling tournament at Maple Heights high school. The team earned 3rd place over all as a team. Mason is the 113 pound Champion. Carter and Asilbek both placed second. Chayce, Cody , and John placed third. Dom is forth. Vinnie and Jordan placed 5th. Nick and TJ finished 6th. The top four finishers qualified to the Wadsworth District next weekend. The 5th place finishers are alternates for next weekend. Go Cats!!

Your Mayfield Wildcats won the WRC Wrestling Tournament today! There are 6 Champions! Carter at 106, Mason at 113, Jordan at 138, Dom at 150, Cody at 157, and John at 215!! Congratulations Mat Cats! Just a great WIN!

The most beautiful gym floor is wrestling mats from door to door! That’s right the Wildcats wrestlers go to Perry and beat the sixth ranked DIV 2 Dual team in the state with a nail biter 40-39 criteria win. Then the boys set up the gym for tomorrow Quest Youth Wrestling Tournament!

The Mayfield Mat Cats wrestled well this weekend as they captured the team title at the Riverside Rumble. The Wildcats have four individual champions with Cater, Mason, Asilbek, and Dom. Three second place finishes with Chayce, Cody, and John. Taking fifth was Jordan. Next match is a home tri on Thursday 12/17/25.

The Wildcats represented Mayfield very well today at the Ashland Paver Wrestling Invitational placing 3rd in the team standings. Champions are Asilbek and John. 2nd place is Mason. 3rd placer is Dom. 4th place is Cody. 5th place is Carter, Chayce, and Jordan.
