Games ended today…a great experience for the boys! A tough loss in Gold bracket round; time to enjoy the rest of our trip with family. ❤️⚾️🖤 -thanks to all the 9ers families and supporters. Back home next week for playoffs and one more tournament to close out the year.

Why the name Andy’s 9ers?

Years ago, the Andy's 9ers program was created in memory of Andy Cheyfitz. A 1993 graduate of Brush High School, Andy played baseball, football, and wrestled at Brush for four years. He also was a member of the 1993 J.L Clevelanders Connie Mack Baseball Team. Andy was a member of the 1994 John Carroll University Varsity Baseball Team. Andy was devoted to baseball from a very young age. Since he began playing, he never missed a game or a practice. His young life was unfortunately taken in a tragic car accident on February 11, 1994.

We are honored to be a part of this program and try to continue to live out his legacy by playing with the same spirit and passion as #9 did.
