Brian has submitted fly patterns to the Fly Fishing and Tying Journal, Eastern Flyfishing, and a multitude of websites. Our mission is to provide the highest quality both original/standard flies to you, hand tied by us personally. We dont just offer a bin full of every pattern known to man, we only offer flies that work...flies that we fish...flies that catch fish....and flies that only come from our two hands. We specialize in Pike/Musky, Bass, Great Lakes Steelhead/Salmon, and trout. We have created a shop through Etsy where our flies can be purchased. Our flies will be sold as they become available. We will also be taking custom orders upon request, just give us a shout to discuss options. We created this page to share our patterns, stories, suggestions, contests, and specials we will offer. Feel free to contact us with questions. Tightlines.........>(((((*>''

It was one of those days...Dad decided to swing his infamous white rusty hooked wooly over a few salmon he saw and it was demolised by a fat chrome hen he never knew was there. I immediately change over from nymphing to swinging my brothers Steak and eggs intruder. The cadence was spot on, my cast was on point, and I was in the pause at the end of my drift. Everything went downhill from there when the water erupted. I look at my dad on the bank and hear him say, "Oh my God". The fish cartwheeled 3 times across the entire Salmon River; my arm looking like a sewing machine on speed. At that moment I gave up all hope of ever getting my hands on the fish. After some careful fighting, somehow I mangaged to work the fish into shallow water while dad did the netting. I have the largest Fishpond net they have, but it was too small for this fish. So to keep the fish safe and in the net , my dad, used his face to keep the fish in the net as it tried to eject its self to freedom/demise. But dad was all about keeping it safe and sound for the release. We removed the hook, shot a pic, and sent it on its way.
Dad: What fly was that?
Me: Nathan's Steak and Eggs Intruder
Dad: (chuckles) Even when he's not here fishing with us, he's still here fishing with us. True story. BP @ Salmon River (New York)
