Harry Hueston (first picture in blue, second picture on the right) was a dear friend of our coach . He kept us safe at school behind the scenes, as our Emergency Management Coordinator on the security/ transportation team. We send our deepest condolences to his family and would like to thank him for everything he did for the High Point University family and community. 💜 @ High Point University

and last but CERTAINLY not least, a special shout-out and HUGE thank you to our coach who made this whole trip possible, who came up just to cheer the team on (and who was promoted to coach number 2), our amazing bus driver who sacrificed his weekend to drive us up here and cheer us on, our amazing families who came to support and the cheer squad who finished early and still waited and cheered for everyone else!! we are so thankful for this trip and the opportunity to represent the club in richmond. now time for a FAT nap!!!

secondly, congrats to all our half marathoners who competed today!! Madison CRUSHED her 3rd half marathon with the club, as well as Nick who PR’d from last December’s !! special congrats to Steven, Bryan, Lily, Gillian, Ariela and Alex for competing in their FIRST half marathon today!! they all did amazing and we are super proud of them!!

first, shoutout to our 4 runners who competed the marathon!! this was Hobie and Christian’s FIRST marathon ever!! we are so proud of their training over the summer and fall leading up to this point. Gabby PR’d by 11 minutes from our race last year at the Outer Banks and Keyin crushed it as usual. super proud of our marathoners!!
