Congratulations to Eric Shifter on earning his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt.

This milestone is the result of years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment both on and off the mats. While serving our community as a Nassau County Police Officer, Eric has consistently found the time and discipline to pursue excellence in martial arts.

Over the years, Eric has proudly represented ECMMA in numerous MMA fights, stepping into the cage time and time again with courage, determination, and the heart of a true martial artist. Win or lose, he always represented our academy with honor and professionalism.

What stands out most about Eric is his character. He is a dedicated teammate, a leader by example, and someone who has earned the respect of everyone around him through hard work, humility, and perseverance.

The black belt is not simply a symbol of skill—it is a reflection of the person you become through the journey. Eric has embodied the values of discipline, resilience, loyalty, and service throughout his career in law enforcement and his years at ECMMA.

We are incredibly proud to call Eric a teammate, a friend, and now a Black Belt.
