For all the non-Instagram followers. to where it all started. My first trout on the manistee river in mi during a hex hatch. Talk about a baptism by fire experience, but hopefully I get to explore some more Michigan water this summer.

Some big ole muskies are going to be stocked by the Table Rock hatchery. Definitely on the bucket list.

If size of parental fish is any indicator of the future size of offspring, then the staff at Table Rock State Fish Hatchery near Morganton (Burke Co) is producing and rearing muskellunge, or “muskies,” that will grow up to be monsters someday.

Muskie production at Table Rock Hatchery recently got under way for the year. Click the pix to learn more about the Wildlife Commission’s efforts to improve angling opportunities for the “fish of 10,000 casts.”
