We believe that all kids deserve opportunities to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our Y focuses on preparing more kids for success in school and life by providing education and support, along with the physical and emotional guidance kids need to learn, grow and thrive. For Healthy Living

The Y brings families together, encourages good health and fosters con

nections through fitness, sports, child care and fun. Also our Y plays a key role in helping health seekers decrease their risk of lifestyle-related diseases and improve overall health. For Social Responsibility

The Y has been listening and responding to our community needs for over 40 years. We provide social services that support and empower people to overcome obstacles, provide volunteer opportunities, raise and award funds for financial assistance for those individuals and families that need a Y experience but cannot afford one. The Y collaborates with other organizations that share our values to build a healthier community

Congratulations to Sylvia Barber, our Hickory Foundation YMCA July Senior Punch Card winner!

Our monthly Senior Punch Card program is a great way to stay active and stay connected at the Y. At the start of each month, pick up a new Punch Card and get it punched at the front desk with every visit. When you reach 10 visits in one month, your card will be entered into a prize drawing. Each new month brings a new opportunity to keep moving, build healthy habits, and enjoy being part of our Y community.

The Hickory Foundation YMCA is partnering with Walgreens to host a vaccine clinic on Friday, September 25, from 8–11 a.m.

Outdoor Pool Schedule Update 🏊‍♀️☀️

Starting Monday, August 24, the Hickory Foundation YMCA will have an updated pool schedule.

Our outdoor pool hours will change through Labor Day, which will be the final day of the season for our outdoor pool.

Please take a moment to review the updated schedule before your next swim. We’re looking forward to making the most of these final days of summer with you! 💙

Starting the School Year with Confidence

Last week, we had the joy of helping local students head back to school with confidence, excitement, and the supplies they need to succeed.
