Our students are proudly wearing the updated AikiDojo of Hickory gi tops, now featuring our dojo logo over the heart. Standing before the kamiza, they represent more than rank or technique. They represent the values we strive to cultivate every day: respect, perseverance, humility, discipline, and character.

The logo may be new, but the commitment to personal growth and traditional martial arts remains unchanged.

Every belt tells a story. Every class is another step on the journey.

Not every challenge happens on the mat.

Donald was unfortunately sick and unable to participate in our regularly scheduled belt testing, but he didn't let that stop him. Once he was feeling better, he came back determined, put in the work, and absolutely rocked his promotion test!

Earning a new rank isn't just about learning techniques. It's about perseverance, dedication, and having the courage to keep moving forward when obstacles get in the way. Donald showed all of those qualities and more.

Please join us in congratulating Donald on his promotion to Yellow Belt! We are proud of the hard work, focus, and positive attitude he brings to the dojo.
