Want a new way to work on your flexibility and strength? Maybe you want to build confidence for yourself or help your child build their own confidence and strength.
🥋Incorporate karate into your back-to-school routine Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This is a year-round class that starts new sessions every 3 months! The newest session is starting September 8th @6:15pm. This individualized sport is great for kids, teens AND adults.
Over time, karate can help you build flexibility, strength and endurance but also build confidence in yourself, better your concentration/focus and increase your leadership abilities.
All classes are taught by black belts. Mr. Kennedy, class instructor, has 25+ years experience teaching here on the Iron Range and he spent many years before that training down at Ramsey National Karate. Mr. Kennedy has students who have been training under him for 15+ years, earned their black belts and now also help instruct classes to give a more 1-on-1 experience when it's needed.

Fall session signups are live! Follow the link in the post below to get registered as soon as possible. *Please be sure that you are signing up for the correct class.
Hibbing National Karate is a year-round individualized sport. Each session starts at the beginning of the season. Fall session for new students ages 8+ will begin September 8th.

Congratulations to those who promoted and segmented last night!

Scheduled classes will be on a short break for the end of summer and resume again in September!

🔹Full uniform required.
🔹Arrive early to stretch on your own.
🔹Bring water.
🔹Mr. Kennedy will let you know when he is ready to accept cards.
📸When your student is being belted, adults/family are encouraged to step onto the floor to get pictures.

when making these decisions, we heavily consider safety of instructors and student.

Discipline: Showing up when it would have been easier to stay home.
Dedication: Attending class when it is 85° outside and the building has really poor AC.

We know it's not easy. If it was easy, everyone would do it and there would be a lot more black belts in the world. Every class you attend regardless of the weather is a day you are getting stronger.

If you're a current student or parent of HibbingNK and you haven't already downloaded the TeamReach app, we encourage you to do so!
This tool allows us to communicate directly, share class schedule updates and more.
We will still use Facebook for outreach but TeamReach will allow for last minute updates, like cancelations or location changes, to be seen before you arrive as it will give a notification when we post.

Hibbing National Karate is going to be using TeamReach for updates, events and communication! We will still be posting on our page, but this will allow for better response time, scheduling, and last minute updates to reach you faster than Facebook might be able too.
For the group access code, talk to Mr. Kennedy or Ms. Montcalm during classes or send a message to the page and we will send it to you!
