**PLEASE READ COMPLETELY**
We will meet at from 9:00-9:45. Sandy will have pastries and coffee on.... So show up early, to catch up with people you haven't seen since 2022. We'll leave at 10:00.
Put your studded tires on. The puddle photo's above will be frozen solid come ride day. We'll have 4-5 miles worth of this type of riding. Be smart, if you have studded tires use them.
This route will challenge everyone; some more than others.
Once we hit these are the trails we will ride... Brightside, Boneyard, Brightside, Zen connector, Tough Mama, Zen, New trail with no current name at this time. We will pop out at the Red Hop & South Rim intersection.
NOW LISTEN UP!!
Here your odometer will only read 10.25 miles.
Access how you're feeling at this point. You may want to turn around and go back to Palmer's. Don't worry, the way back will be marked. To the once on the paved trail follow it into
When you see the you only have a few blocks to Palmer's Tavern. AND this is the only time during this day I can honestly say, no bu****it..... it's all downhill!!
We'll have 3 more (not so easy) miles to the trailhead. Via Red Hop, Roller Derby (don't worry, everything is rollable, no mandatory jumps) Crossfire will take us down to the water level, then up up to Northstar, and High Road to the trailhead.
Where there will be fires and drinks, we'll be around 13.75 miles in.
If you've made it this far congratulations, you definitely have achieved something!
Now, my suggestion to the riders who would like to walk normal on Sunday and Monday.... If you are able, have someone bring your vehicle to the trailhead... before you start your ride; you may like to be done riding at this point... no shame if that's the case; trust me!
After you had your fill of fire and drinks, and BSing... we make our way back to Palmer's via Spellbound, Northstar (I think, it's a new trail) Glenline to wheeler trails and some well earned burgers.
Anyway,lf there's something you think I missed, shoot me a DM, and I'll try to help.
