Open April 01 thru October 31, every year. Full hookups, water, power, cable and sewer. $1100.00 per year per site.

Meet Mike and Dottie Norman. Owners of our beautiful campground. Mike and his late Brother, Bruce opened LowerBell in 1990.

Hiawassee has and still is Mike, Dottie, and Jane Norman’s (Bruce’s widow) home away from home. Together they have raised 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren at the lake.

Mike and Dottie spend the majority of the summer at LowerBell. If you can’t find them in the beginning of the week, they’ll for sure be there for the end of the week into the weekend. Feel free to stop by anytime and chat.🙂

Housekeeping updates.

Please do not leave trash bags outside of the dumpsters. These dumpsters are also for household garbage only. Please be sure to breakdown all boxes flat before putting them in the trash.

The garbage trucks will not pick up the trash that is not in the dumpsters, nor will they empty the cans if the Top is not closed. If we abuse these rules, they will take the cans away and we will no longer have dumpsters in the Campground. Please try and keep it as clean as possible.

The dumpsters are emptied every Tuesday.

Do to Covid-19 heating back up, and multiple cases reported from our friends who camp with us, we have decided to postpone our Labor Day Pik-nic. We have not made this decision lightly and have thought long and hard about it. We miss you all and miss our traditions, but we care about you and your families health most. Let’s hope 2022 is a better year!
