The system emphasizes adaptability, close-quarters defense, striking, control, takedowns, survival tactics, and warrior mindset training for modern-day self-protection. For the Ninjutsu and Ninpo Taijutsu portion of training, Kai-den Jutsu Ryu Dojo is proudly affiliated with the International Bujinkan Dojo Association (IBDA). Students studying the traditional Ninjutsu curriculum are introduced to authentic Bujinkan-based teachings, including taijutsu movement, ukemi, kamae, distancing, awareness, traditional weapons, and warrior discipline under the guidance and standards of the IBDA. Senji is not about flashy movements or sport competition — it is about functional self-defense, personal growth, discipline, confidence, and preserving the warrior spirit while adapting martial arts for modern realities. At Kai-den Jutsu Ryu Dojo, students train to become stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually while learning effective self-defense and the principles of the warrior path. Kai-den Jutsu Ryu Dojo 武術 – Combative War Arts is an official affiliated dojo of the International Bujinkan Dojo Association (IBDA), dedicated to the authentic study and preservation of Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu and traditional Ninjutsu training. As a recognized IBDA-affiliated dojo operating within the standards of Shidoshi-Kai, students receive structured instruction in the official IBDA curriculum from 10th Kyu through Shodan Black Belt. Under the guidance of Shidoshi Ho Sensei Alex Aki-Ra 明, students train in the principles of Bujinkan martial arts, including taijutsu, self-defense, discipline, awareness, traditional weapons, and the warrior mindset. Membership through the IBDA allows students to become part of an international martial arts organization dedicated to preserving the teachings and traditions of the Bujinkan system. Rank promotions and certificates are recognized through the IBDA and are signed by Shidoshi Ho Sensei Alex Aki-Ra 明 along with Doshi Richard Van Donk, Headmaster of the International Bujinkan Dojo Association.
