Did a second and more thorough vacuuming in the pool Sunday and hooked up the skimmer. The temp was up to 74. All is good!!

I finally got in the pool and gave it a good vacuuming. Hopefully the weather on this long weekend will allow for some pool time.

I had my heart set on a little nap on my favorite floatie in the pool after work. The weather didn't let that happen. I did manage to get the pool vacuumed between lightning strikes though.

The new skimmer is in, the new solar cover is on, the water is 67 degrees.

After being gone for a week, I didn't know what to expect the pool to look like when we got home. Doing my due diligence before we left paid off. The water is shiny clean and 75 degrees. A pleasant surprise.
