Cub Scout Pack 112 Hesston, KS Quivira Council, Hesston Pack 112 Cub Scouts We meet on Monday's during the school year. We do various service projects throughout the community to earn badges.

We have books according to child's rank that we work out of to earn achievements, belt loops, and awards. We have Pinewood Derby Races, Raingutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, family camp trips, lock-ins, bowling, skating and lots of various activities with learning and experiencing new things!

The Harvey County Sheriff's department took time from their day and showed the cub scouts their new truck and the rest of the office.

If any of you parents where hoping for a "scared straight" result, I think we missed! The boys loved the experience and had a ton of questions!

Webelos planned and then cooked the meal. Not what I expected the kids to vote on but we had lemon salmon, long grain rice, brazed carrots, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, cheese, and apple and cherry cobbler for dessert... topped off with sparkling apple cider... and they did a GREAT JOB planning cooking and cleaning up. I love that everyone tried something NEW and found out new isn't bad.
