White River Guide Service of michigan I provide river reports for the WHITE RIVER. Important information like water level,temp and water clarity and wadding information. I still guide!

I cant guide as much as I used to (a job thing) but if I can the cost is $385.00 for a full day on the White River. The White is a small river and gets a little crowded most of the time, But thanks to the Hyde drift boat I (we) can get away from the crowds and fish parts of the river that hardly see any traffic at all. So if you like catching 14 pound salmon or chasing silver or if you just want to know the up to date river conditions give me a jingle (or want to book a date) just email me and I'll answer your questions. AUG. 4TH 2026. Water temp 64. Water is running clear. I tried some dry fly fishing and came up with a big slice of nothing. But the water aint 70+ any more.

July 3rd 2026. Water temp is 72 and was running normal but cloudy.. only caught 1 small fish. The water is just too warm. Time to find another river for the summer.

June 25. 2026. Water temp 60. Water level high but wadable. Like above the knees high. Water is cloudy. Not much visability. I started out with a 14 para adams with foam post. Not too much going on with that. Switched to a small foan grass hopper with some luck. Walked back to the car and grabbed my 6wt so I could throw a black wooly bu**er. I had bigger fish on using the streamer and that was past noon. Cloudy day with no wind. And dont forget the bug spray

June 9th 2026. Had lots of rain yesterday and last night. Decided to check it out. I got courious. Brought my 5wt just incase. I wet waded and the river is brown and you cant see the bottom. Its knee deep most of the time with a few times wading to my waist. Caught a 12 brownie and 2 8 inchers on the cone head streamer. Wading up stream was a hassel. See you on the WHITE!

May 18. 2026. Well with all the rain blowing out the rivers I never got to do some steelheading. I took out my trout gear and went to the White today and hooked into some really nice browns. I did manage one big brown to hand. I think its my personal best on that streach.

April 28. 2026. The White is still high. It has a nice copper color to it. I did see some people in waders down river up to there waist in water. We all missed a lot of fishing time due to the amount of rain we had. Im curious how the river has changed. Well thats it for now. Good luck, be safe, and see you on the White.
