Father Judge Cross-Country/Track & Field

This past week our Cross Country team spent 3 days away together in Thompson, PA for preseason XC camp at Independent Lake Camp. The boys trained over trails and hills, swam in the lake, participated in a number of fun activities, and most importantly, bonded together as a team before the upcoming XC season.

FJXC opens its season Labor Day Weekend at the Northampton Invite on Saturday, September 5th.

Great weekend at the PIAA State Championship! Couldn’t be more proud of this group for competing with the best in the State! Congrats to our competitors Shia Naoki Lemard (Javelin) Gavin Hutz, Elijah Acosta-Torres, Aden Austin, and AJ McClatchy (4x100m). AJ McClatchy also ran a 48.33 to capture 2nd place in the AAA 400m! Congrats on a great season boys.

Great day at States for our Crusaders! Huge shout out to our guys that competed today!

Senior AJ McClatchy set the tone for the day, improving his school record in the 400m to 48.64 and finishing 2nd overall in the state of Pennsylvania‼️

To cap off the day, our 4x400 relay of Ryan Teye-Williams ‘27 (50.33), Gavin Hutz ‘26 (52.47), Nick Rodriguez-Ortiz ‘27 (51.19), and AJ McClatchy (48.76) set a new school record, winning their heat in a time of 3:22.74 and finishing 6th in the state‼️

Congratulations to Senior AJ McClatchy on breaking the Father Judge Indoor School Record for the Indoor 400m last night at the University of Penn Ott Center! AJ’s time of 48.78 makes him the first Crusader to break 49 seconds indoor and currently ranks him 7th in the state!
