It was another good day for Crusaders cross-country. In the girls JV race we had 2 runners place in the top 10. Milaena N. 4th and Betty S. 9th. Gavin W. Placed 4th in boys JV. In the varsity race coming in back-to-back were Luke W. 2nd and Caleb M. 3rd. Next starting line is in Carterville this Wednesday 16th.

Cross country started the season off strong, racking up multiple top 10 placements after our first two meets.
At the Marion meet Luke W. Placed 1st and Caleb M. Placed 4th in the varsity race. Top 10 finishers for the JV race were Owen L., Vaughn H., and Milaena N.

At the Quad County Athletic Conference Championship, we captured more top 10 spots. Runner Luke W. set the pace for the varsity race and never looked back, earning an impressive 1st place finish. In the JV race, Milaena N. Snagged 2nd and Betty S crossed the line in 9th. The crusaders are looking forward to keeping this top 10 streak going.
