I've tried all of the different anti-fog spreads, creams, sprays and wipes, I've tried the dish soap hack, and I still battled with fogging goggles until I discovered Mask DEFOG from 500psi, now Ive been using it for months and been very impressed.

So I partnered with them to bring the high standards of scuba diving antifog to airsoft! Pick up a bottle at GMI Airsoft for just $15, the convenient 2oz bottle has enough product to last a long time and conveniently clips to your gear.

Application is easy, just smear a small amount across the whole lens of your goggles with a clean finger, and rinse away with a splash of water. I've even done this on the field for players I come across dealing with major fogging and it has saved the day.

For extreme conditions I've gone so far as to pair this product with the Exfog fan kit, and now I can gleefully say I can keep 100% of fog away even in extreme heat or cold. A statement I was beginning to think impossible.

How much does it cost to start playing airsoft?

There is a ton of different opinions around the web but I want to share with you two different options that make it possible to get out on the field and have a good time amongst competitive players for about $175, even including a quality mask.

First is the CYMA Sport Keymod M4, this gun is the cheapest option I've found to get out on the field and be competitive. It shoots a pretty outstanding 415-420 fps, and all standard V2 components. For only $115 (or $140 with the inclusion of a 9.6v battery and charger) it keeps up with guns with a much higher price tag just fine. The externals do leave something to be desired, but by using inexpensive materials for the body of the gun CYMA has opened the doors to a group of players that might not have the budget to get out and play professionally until now.

Second is the Matrix Sportline G3 M4. This option is a pretty different approach, with a much more targeted focus on reliability. The G3 gearbox has been proven to withstand about 400 fps but this model has been bumped down to 300 fps, so you can trust that the internals can withstand nearly endless usage with very little wear and tear on internal components. Couple that with a nice mosfet with a trigger switch, and a very nice feeling sturdy polymer body, a player on a budget can certainly play competitively. This one goes for $125 (or $150 with a battery and charger).

Don't forget to pick up some good face protection, for only $35 we carry a very nice face mask from DYE.

And did I mention every AEG is warrantied through me for 6 months? You'll have a guaranteed 6 months of play before having to spend a single cent on repairs.

Gone are the days that you need $200 or $300 to participate in airsoft. I am now proud to say that I have tons of options for almost any budget, which means more players are able to come and play this wonderful sport!
