We are scheduled to receive this year's fish on Sept 16th @ 1pm. If you would like to come down and volunteer help unloading the fish from the truck into the raceways please be at the nursery for 1230. We unload when the truck arrives. So this way if it comes a little early we're all set up and ready. Thanks and feel free to come down.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came to help seal the raceways yesterday evening. That was the most help we've had in a long time and it was great. Everyone did an awesome job. Appreciate everything. Update on the fish arrival date will be coming soon.

On Wednesday Sept 2nd @ 6pm at the nursery we will be having a work detail to seal the raceways at the nursery. This is our final and biggest preparation for the arrival of the new fish Sept 10th. We are in need of volunteers to help us so we can get done in one evening and prevent the delay of the fish arrival. This is an all hands on deck detail and we would very much appreciate any and all help we can get. We will provide all the materials needed. The only thing you would need is some clothes you wouldn't mind getting a little wet and dirty and some elbow grease. Thank you in advance and hope to see you there. Greatly appreciated.

As many of you are aware Himmels Grove is a designated children's only fishing section from mentor day til the end of May. As seen from the pictures we have been dealing with the damaging and destruction of our signs we post up. We volunteer our time and resources to ensure that section of creek is set up for countless children to enjoy. This has been an ongoing issue for the past several weeks now where we replace a sign and a short time later it is subsequently damaged, sometimes to the point a whole new sign is needed. We respectfully ask if anyone witnesses any of our signs being damaged to please reach out to us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. Tomorrow morning is what has become know as our annual Mother's Day stocking. We will be meeting at the nursery for 7am and be starting shortly thereafter. If you would like to come down and assist with the stocking we could always use an extra hand so come on down. Food and refreshments will be available. We will also have memberships and our new raffle tickets available.

Yesterday was our annual children's trout rodeo. The kids had a great time and we gave away a bunch of great prizes. The fish were biting off and on all day long. There was some nice fish caught. We appreciate everyone's support and look forward to the derby in 2027. Lastly, a big shout out to everyone who helped at the derby and leading up to the derby to help make the derby possible. Also a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors who support us. Without you the kids wouldn't get the wonderful prizes they do.
