Happy birthday to the only coach who can turn a 10-minute practice into a 3-hour TED Talk about fundamentals. 😂⚾️

The man showed up dressed like he’s about to lead the Mavericks to the World Series, but judging by that pose, he’s really just waiting for someone to ask:

“Coach, where’s the cooler?”

Got the jersey. Got the hat. Got the bat. Got the sunglasses tan. Got the coach face.

Still hasn’t figured out how to stop yelling “ONE MORE!” when practice was supposed to end 45 minutes ago. 🤣

Happy birthday, Coach! May your players actually listen to you this year—and may the umpires finally realize that you are, in fact, always right. 😂🔥

Now on a serious note, from 9U Five Star ⭐️ to the 11U Mavericks ✈️ he’s been the leader of our future men. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into the boys Coach. Hopefully your birthday is like a 6-4-3 double play, the best!

The Mississippi Mavericks are looking for sponsors to represent on our team banner this year!!

Your donations keep the cost low for our parents, as well as help us give these boys a World Series experience at the end of spring!!

Last year with your help - we attended the Grand Slam WS in Panama City, Florida, purchased special WS uniforms, trading pins, took them to Wonder Works, and provided them with an experience we hope they always remember!!

Please join with us again! We look forward to your partnership, and being able to represent you via social media and on our physical banner that will hang on our dugouts in every tournament we compete in!

The boys had a great end to the 25-26 season!! They got to enjoy a 35’ water slide and absolute had a blast!!

We officially closed the season out and now look forward to the next!!

We are excited to announce our roster as we move into our 11U season! Each one of them brings something special to the team. This is an amazing group of young men that we look forward to seeing grow, compete, and succeed this coming season. Now help us congratulate our 11U Mavericks!

The Mississippi Mavericks are excited to announce two new additions to our squad!

Kellen Greene is no stranger to the Mavericks! Having picked up with us multiple times, Kellen has shown himself to be a powerful presence in the lineup! Kellen has come through in big moments with us, including hitting his first ever over-the-fence home-run in Mavericks colors!! Kellen has versatility on the diamond, providing experience on the corners and behind the dish!! He will wear the #9 jersey for us!

The return of Aiden Newsom is a welcomed one. Aiden adds another power bat to the Mavericks. He has home-run power (2 with our uniform on) and the ability to drive in any runner on base! Aiden also brings a proven big game arm to the mound, and a strong shot from the hot corner! Aiden brings another calm, cool, and collected presence no matter the situation. Aiden will again wear #18 for us!

Both of these players are awesome kids and are a great addition to the wonderful boys and families we are lucky enough to have around us!
