Hello everyone 👋🏻

As most of you know, I travel the world for a living and I am lucky to have visited some amazing places and have some unforgettable experiences.

The aviation industry has been hit hard over the past few years but I managed to keep my job and carry on flying around, whilst most people couldn’t leave the country, which I’m very grateful for. I meet some amazing people in my job from all over the world and have had many amazing experiences - now it is my time to give back.

Next week I am due to fly to Warsaw, Poland and stay for around 14 hours. The state of the world is hard to ignore right now and flying to Poland I’m sure will be an experience that I will never forget. As I’m sure you are aware, Poland is one of the main countries that Ukrainian people are seeking refuge in.

I am well informed that the hotel I stay in is taking donations of long life food, clothes, supplies for children and monetary donations too. Whilst I am unable to check in a large case of donations, my intention is to take what I can in my carry on luggage and then go to the local shops in Poland to purchase long life food to donate.

This is my way of directly helping these poor people facing an awful time of war. I am not asking for donations but I know a lot of you will also want to help and would be doing the same if you were in my position.

As we move into the New Year, many of us will be trying to create new habits by moving our bodies and maybe trying something new which is great!
However, for years diet culture has taught us that exercise is punishment for what we have eaten, especially in January after enjoying the festive season.
Take this as a reminder that exercise should not be punishment! Try to find ways to move your body that you enjoy, which give you more benefits than just changing the way you look! 💜
