This is our sign-up list for the September 13th Singles 9 Pin Event. Please let us know if you can no longer make it! The theme is neon colors and an 80s retro vibe!

Location: Desert Lanes Family Fun Center Hermiston Oregon
Event: This is a SINGLES event of 64 bowlers. Youth CAN bowl and will be paid in Smart Money.
Cost: $35.00 per bowler. Cash only.
Check-in: starts at 8:00 AM, bowling starts at 9:00 AM

Brackets $10 each, 300 guesses, 300 side pot, and 50/50 tickets will be sold. Cash only.

Our last SCRATCH baker trios event at Quaking Aspens Lanes (Wildhorse Resort & Casino) was a huge success with over $5,500 in payouts. This was with only 19 of the 24 teams we have room for. Today we hosted our August Team Hawaiian-themed tournament! We had lots of fun with everyone today, maxing out Desert Lanes Family Fun Center with 16 full teams (64 bowlers)!

Congratulations to the Wise Cracks (Felicia Wiser, Teresa Wiser, Ricky Wiser, and Ethan Muñoz) for placing #1 with a total of 4440! Followed closely by the Aloha Crew (Nicole Maxwell, James Maxwell, Morgyn Maxwell, and Rick Wilson) with a total of 4406.

Thank you to Ray Fields and Desert Lanes Family Fun Center for hosting and donating a bowling ball raffle prize. Congratulations to Chris Chandler for winning that ball!

Thank you to Carianne Siemens Shuster for donating our entry prize, a S'mores Basket that Brian Tara Shaner won. Remember, if you dress up on theme, you get an extra entry prize drawing ticket.

Last weekend we headed to Quaking Aspens Lanes at Wildhorse Resort & Casino to try out a different event. We hosted a scratch Baker Trios. We had 19 teams come and try out our new event.

After the 21 games we cut to the top 3 teams for a stepladder finish. The 3rd place team, Hold My Balds (Ron Mayberry, Oscar Garnica, and Justin Jonson) went against the 2nd place team, Estrogen +1 (Evan Nash, Kourtnie Bradley, and Kassandra Foss). Estrogen +1 beat them 2 matches in a row to move on against the leading team of the day, Getting the Shaft ( Steve Robinson, Chris Bretthauer, and Dan Martin.) Getting the Shaft beat them both matches to take home the victory.

Throughout the bowling we had several big scores. Getting the Shaft shot a 300 game 3, F U Bob (Franny Diaz, Bob Kirby, and Ted Dreibelbis) shot a 300 game 21, and Estrogen +1 shot a 298 game 12.

With 19 teams bowling, we had $7,125 come in ($375 per team). $90 per team went to cover lineage and expenses. That left $285 a team ($5,415) to cover payouts. After a ball raffle donated by Chad Lambert we had $5,520 to payout.

1st Place: Getting The Shaft: $2,400
2nd Place: Estrogen +1: $1,245
3rd Place: Hold My Balds: $900
4th Place: Three Musketeers: $600
5th Place: Mixed Nuts: $375
Total Paid Out: $5,520

We had people from all over make the drive to come and see what it was all about. People from Idaho, Portland, and Spokane. We got a lot of positive feedback and plan to have this again in October. Many said this was one of the most fun event types they have bowled in. If you have any other feedback or suggestion regarding this event please let us know. Thank you all for making the trip here for this new event.

Event: This is a TEAM event made of 4 people, any mix. It is 4 Games, 16 teams. I will need team names for each team!
Cost: $35.00 per bowler. Cash only.
Check-in: starts at 8:00 AM, bowling starts at 9:00 AM
Theme: Hawaiian shirts, summer, tropical vacation (match the theme for an extra ticket in the door prize)
Brackets, 300 guesses, 300 side pot, and 50/50 tickets will be sold. Cash only.
