A hog-nosed skunk where the previous night we detected a spotted skunk (and on another night a hooded skunk) - Ramsey Canyon Inn B&B lies in the world-famous "Sky Island" ecological crossroads in the Huachuca Mountains of southeastern Arizona and is one of the exceptionally rare places in the United States where all four native North American skunk species co-exist. Because the canyon bridges the Chihuahuan Deserts, Rocky Mountains, and Sierra Madre ecosystems, its rich biodiversity provides the perfect habitat for these uniquely varied critters. https://ramseycanyoninn.com

This family of ringtail cats passes through most nights. The location is a game trail where I noticed sone s**t - a scent station which can be a good place to set a motion activated camera. spotted skunk, hooded skunk, mountain lion, coati, Coue’s deer, Arizona gray squirrel, rock squirrel, Gould’s turkey, white- footed deer mouse, and gray fox have all been detected right here on a rocky hillside away from water - "two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."
