Absolute gratitude for Professor Gino🥋🙏🏿 “The General”🔥 He is a pure representative of the old guard. Honor, respect, unquestionable loyalty and dedication to our art and the principles of growth it affords us. We’ve shared so many great times over the last 10 years it would be impossible to point out just one. However if you ever get the opportunity to be in his presence and learn from his extensive life and combat experience, you will be glad you did. One of the greatest things about Jiu Jitsu is the gift of having a front row seat while watching the growth and development of the people we are blessed to share this art with. A little over 7 years ago William walked into the academy. He expressed certain goals and dreams. He was never the superstar or most “talented” on the mat. However, he has never been afraid of the work. He has always been a phenomenal young man with the absolute purest of hearts.
The road trips, the food runs (triple scoop ice cream🤣), the many highs and the tears shed on the lows have made for a truly incredible experience. Congratulations on earning your Brown belt today🤎🥋 I’m beyond proud of you!! Keep paying it forward, and keep your passion for the art burning!!! Your future is so bright young man.

One of the greatest blessings of this Jiu Jitsu journey is being in a position to pay it forward to the next generation. I have had the great fortune of watching William literally grow up before my eyes.
represents the purity of a martial artist. Nothing came easy for him. There were moments of frustration, sadness and probably even the desire to quit Jiu Jitsu altogether. He didn’t…Even persevering through the challenges that Covid posed.
What we see today is not just a young man that has found himself a home at the top of the podium, but also a dedicated coach, a loyal student and a great human being. Whatever the future holds for this young man, he will continue to shine with confidence!!

Sometimes the universe places individuals in your path that not only infuse you with tremendous energy, but who also remind you of the tremendous gift it is to be able to share the things you are most passionate about. is one such person. He is a straight A student. His Jiu Jitsu is phenomenal. His work ethic is exceptional. His strong faith and commitment to excellence personifies everything you look for in a student. 2025 was a tremendous year of growth for Lorenzino!

The Rise of the Reaper
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

2025 has been the type of year that every die hard competitor dreams of. All submissions, Gi and No Gi Kids Pans Champion, Gi and No Gi European Kids Champion, No Gi Brasiliero Champion and the list goes on. Every time he stepped on the mat, we knew “a moment” was about to happen. 2024 did not go entirely as planned for Rex, but it created a fire inside him to get back in the lab, refine his technique and attack 2025 in a relentless manner. As a musician, he knows the sensation of hitting the chords so smoothly that the sound resonates in his spirit. This is also the essence of his Jiu Jitsu. Rex will shine bright on the mats for many years to come.

2025 saw the emergence of Hollister .atalig as a leader on and off the mat. She is a straight A student with a phenomenal work ethic, and an unshakable foundation rooted in a very strong belief system.
Her success did not come overnight. She spent countless hours training, making adjustments and asking questions. Sometimes that effort materialized into the results she wanted, but often on the biggest stages, she was unable to take the final step to the top of the podium.
Fast forward to Kids Pans in Orlando, Fl. No more anxiety, no more pressure. The work was done. “I’m giving it to God” she told me right before entering the bullpen. In that moment I knew. She was calm, and at peace. What happened next was such a beautiful display of the artistry of Jiu Jitsu. She captured her first Pans Kids title.
I have no doubt that Hollister will accomplish every single goal she sets for herself as she continues to walk in faith🙏🏿
