Wild day here in Missouri, the hunting has been great here at I’ve sat this stand for the last 3 days, daylight to dark, have seen over 100 deer and 20-30 bucks. This buck came in around 9 am, I take the shot, arrow was a little back but caught one lung and liver but this is where the story gets a little western…shortly after I shoot this buck, two domestic dogs come in running another buck down through the woods and then start chasing my buck, they ended pushing him over 2000 yards before he bedded, I had to put another arrow in him to finish the job but feel pretty lucky to have him considering how far he went after the shot! the grim reaper broadhead tore him up on a marginal hit, but the blood trail was the key to recovering him, thanks again!
